My puter uses windows XP. Every time I try to logon my screen says “Error 619″. Takes 5-10 tries to logon.
My ISP is no help & I’ve tried to change the dialup rules but nothing seems to work. After the “error 619″ shows up the screen says “the script has halted”. When I click “OK” it goes into redial mode & starts the process all over again.

It can be because of one of the program that starts when windows start.
That program tries to connect internet and it give error code when fails to connect. (Or something like that)
You should check your startup programs. One method is start->click run->type msconfig->click ok.
You should see system configuration utility page. Go to Startup tap and you will see a list of startup programs.
You can consult a computer technician for possible problematic startup program.(Don’t do it yourself as you may not know exactly)
Make sure your computer have antivirus program installed and updated.
Install windows defender. Download from http://www.microsoft.com/athome/security/spyware/software/default.mspx
