I have 8 splits in my house, two sets of 4, and I know this is why my cable modem isn’t working so is there good splitters that wont degrade the signal?

Are wireless routers really wireless? I think I need to setup A LAN in my home and I have a desktop,another desktop, and a ps2 in three different rooms. I don’t want wires running all over the place. Is there really a WIRELESS router? The only wires I want are: The power cable to the router, modem wire to the router, comp wire to the modem.

ALSO: if you can please tell me how the router works and recommend a good one!

Hi, I would like to buy a NAS Server for home use. The options are from Buffallo Tech, Western Digital and Tritton Tech. I don’t know which one to buy for what I need.
I need to store photos, videos, datas, music, and possibly to run as FTP+HTTP server(using dyns)so people can access there and view the website and files without having my pc ON.
I want it to work just attaching to router or Cable Modem. Thanks
