Just reinstalled windows. Have a Lexmark X1180 colour inkjet printer (one of those ones with the scanner integrated)

Lost my installation CD

Gone onto the Lexmark website – cannot find drivers for x1180, but found X1100 series. Call to Lexmark Tech Support (stupid menu system, call took 2 minutes 40 seconds, yet I only spoke to a human for 10 seconds to confirm the following) said that it was the X1100 series driver that I needed.

Downloaded and installed per instructions (extract to C:blah-blah-blah and then use Windows Add Printer Wizard and point the “Have Disk…” to this area) – it has problems installing it

Anyone advise, please?

(Gee, how stupid can Windows and drivers get?? Something that should take minutes continues to totally waste my life – I’ve got better things to do than sit here wrestling with stupid windows….)

Whre can I find a free driver download for genius colorpage 3xe scanner?

Just bought a “cheapie” printer/scanner, it seems to work fine, I want to print out coupons, must I use a special paper for coupons? It’s an ink jet type, have correct paper for normal copying.

how can u put your pic on the computer wihout using scanner or camera?
