A large team of Obama employees that have been flooding usenet (newsgroups for those of you in Rio Linda), chat rooms, blogs, youtube, yahoo answers et al (et al means lots of other interweb thingies) to give the illusion of Obama being pervasive…

Years ago I used to use a product called FREE AGENT to download files (mostly PICS) from the internet. I recently tried porting the program from an old WindowsNT machine into XP and it didn’t run.

I really liked that I could subscribe to 5 of my favorite newsgroups and pull down 100 or more pictures from each without all the pointing & right clicking etc.

The company doesn’t support the FREE AGENT product anymore and I don’t like the interface on their regular AGENT product.

Anyone know of a product that’s currently available that does what FREE AGENT used to do?

Nearly every visitor, salesman, consultant, or purchasing agent who visits my small business asks for internet access for their laptop. Is there a way to give them access to my T-1 connection without compromising the security of my LAN? I am currently using a Linksys BEFVP41 router.

I have Easynews as my newsgroups provider, or whatever, and you would think that paying for that would give you the ability to post as well as download. They want me to use Agent to post, but it’s only free for 30 days, and I had to reset my computer back to it’s specifications from before I installed it cuz it messed up my computer somehow, and now it says my free trial period has expired, which it hasn’t, and I’m too cheap to pay for it just to post some requests. I just have a few e-book, audiobook and music requests that I would like someone to post for me (and maybe keep an eye out for if they’ve been filled and re-posting.) Anyone willing to take pity on a poor, cheap soul??
