How can I scan my child’s crayon drawings without having the crayon rub onto the scanner bed and messing up the scanner bed?

- You wake up at 3 am to go to the bathroom and stop to check your E-mail on the way back to bed.

- You turn off your computer and get this awful empty feeling, as if you just pulled the plug on a loved one.

- You spend half of the plane trip with your laptop on your lap and your child in the overhead compartment.

- You laugh at people with dialup.

- You start using smileys in your snail mail.

- You can’t talk to your mother because she doesn’t have internet.

- You don’t know what gender three of your closest friends are, because they have neutral screennames and you never bothered to ask.

- You start tilting your head sideways to smile.

before I couldn’t even get the microsoft update page to load. I finally was able to start installing sp2, and had to go to bed while it was downloading (I have dialup, so it takes a while). When I woke up my brother said he ‘thought’ it was downloaded. I went to the Microsoft page to make sure, and it said it failed and that there was the error code 0x80072F78.

I don’t know why windows update never works for me. my xp version is valid, not pirated or anything. I turned on automatic updates (look at my previous questions)

um….my os is windows xp home edition version 2002
only has sp1 because I can’t download sp2 >.<

I was laying in bed… and i look over to my right, and EWW huge black light brown bug! Its body resembled kind of… _/ shape on the bottom. If that makes sense. It’s body was really long, i woukld say and inch and a half. My mom said it was a junebug but it had long skinny legs, and moved really slowly, and it was skinny, and when i shook it around in the tin i cought it in, it must have been hard shelled b the way it clacked. The bug was slow, i think 6 legs. The legs were longer then the body. It was sooo creepy! If i need additional information if you have an AIM account, tell me it and ill aim you. What kind of bug is it? How do i get rid of it? Ive seen two, one in my room, and one in my upstairs bathroom. (both rooms upstairs) my mom said theyre just getting in from the cold. I was wondering what smelled on that side of my pillow, so maybe it stunk? IT looks more like a skinny stink bug then a stink bug though.
