4) will i be able to retrieve my itunes shopping account?
5) is there equivalent softwares of Windows Live Messenger, GIMP, Windows Movie Maker and Realplayer?
6) Is the command prompt easy to access and are the commands similar to linux or windows?
7) Will EPSON Printing and scanning software work? 8) How easy / hard is it to install new programs and what is the method?
9) lastly, whats the price range for a good, but not amazingly fancy MAC? ( £ )

ubuntu linux install on boot problem?

i downloaded and burned the ubuntu installer for 9.10 onto a CD. however, when i put it in my cd drive and booted up my computer, my computer would automatically boot up windows vista (which i already have installed). im using a standard user account on my computer (for Vista) but would that affect the install on boot of the CD? do i need to reburn the download? how do i get the ubuntu CD to install upon booting my computer? thank you for any help.
i tried changing the boot order…still no luck.
i chose the write file to disk option after choosing the data cd option (using expressburn)…maybe i need to rewrite the disk

Obtaining Administrative Rights. (From limited user account) Or booting into a linux kernal.?

Basically, I can boot from USB, so it is an option, but I have tried cracking the Vista SAM files afew times, I think they must be patched, the cracks I have tried haven’t worked, even obtaining the hashes and using Rainbow tables didn’t work. Is there any way I can get Admin rights, also, I cant run net use commands from my environment in windows because the Administrators where I am have changed the policies.
Thanks
Chris
I am trying to obtain administrative rights in Windows Vista, I have used every method I know and none of them have worked, including the linux boots to crack the SAM file. I need another way!
Anyone help? Thanks
