I am looking at getting a broadband connection at home. I’m looking for always on, unlimited download, at least 256kbps, all for hopefully less than a thousand a month. I see that DataOne and Airtel have plans that fit this, but I have no idea how good the service is in Bangalore (Annasandrapalya, HAL specific answers would be ideal). I don’t even know if anyone actually provides service to my area. please let me know your experiences and recommendations.

I had installed a broadband connection a few months back. How do I directly type www. I know the shortcut google + cntrl + enter. Even that seems to be not working. Please HELP.

Do you know how much it would cost to break the contract? I’m sick and tired of the dropped connections and sporadic email service since their so-called upgrade several weeks ago. The so-called Help Center says there is no way of knowing when and how often my connection has been dropped. Don’t you think that is BullSh*t? No small wonder they still want my $40 a month for basically a non-existent service.
I’m not sure I have a question here. I guess I’m just venting here b/c venting to Insight doesn’t do a damn bit of good.
