hi friends
This is Balakumar. in my desktop computer am having songs and data for 30gb but there is no cd writer in the system. am having laptop which has dvd writer i like to transfer the songs to my laptop. i dont know how to transfer the songs. am using windows xp in both my system am having a 1 gb pen drive also but it will take more time please tell me any good idea to transfer the data very fast. am having adsl modem cabels (ethernet cabel and dialup cabel). please explain me detailly because i dont have any knowledge about networking.

What is the best deal on a low end P4 desktop w/monitor?

I dissconnected the ethernet cable and installed it onto my desktop, it works fine. My suspicion is I changed a setting or informsation concering my internet provider. Is there step by step information I may obtain to walk me through the needed info to get me back on line?

I have a desktop computer running as a server and two laptops connected to that network. A high speed internet connection runs into the router connected to the desktop and wirless internet allows the laptops to access the internet. My problem is that file sharing does not work. Could you please give me advice. Also, when i turn of the desktop computer, the network shuts down and i lose internet on the laptops. Can this be fixed

I recently installed a websweeper programme to get rid of a pop up problem I was experiencing. However, now I cannot access the internet through my internet icon on my desktop. I have to go through MSN messenger to access the internet. How can I get back to accessing the internet throught the internet icon? (i.e. the blue e).
