How can I run MS Publisher 2002 and print a booklet on a Okidata C5200n with minimum problems?
The detailed problem, no duplex on the printer or the software.
Description of a booklet: one side of a sheet of paper may have page 1 and 24, the other side of the same sheet might be 5 and 36. If the printer software would print everyother page, then allow you to turn the paper over and print the other side, this would be great. It worked find with Win98 and a good driver from HP. With Win XP the new driver is not state of the art so says HP help desk. I am now using an OKIData C5200n which also has a low grade driver. They put the blame on Microsoft, but they only want to sell a $300 duplex add-on…….
Right now I have to take a 30 sheet printout, reverse every odd page then print the back. Try doing 50 booklets like that.
