What browser works just as good as Firefox, but works with HTML similar to Internet Explorer?
I like the Perofrmance of Firefox but I don’t like how it can’t show me some HTML codes… like scroll bar codes and borders/tables.
I work with html and run a website. So, I can’t possibly use Firefox, it doesn’t show some of my work.
IE is also giving me problems… it freezes too much.
Do any of you know of an even better Web Browser than Firefox?
Is Maxathon safe? I was going to download it but I noticed it wanted to install Wheatherbug, isn’t that like spyware or something?
Can the default search engines on the Firefox web browser be edited or removed?
If so, can you please explain how? Thanks!
Leave it to a “bushbacker” to take the low road. Actually, sunshine, I’m referring to the actual compulsory search engines that came bundled in the Firefox browser, NOT any searches I make with it. Unlike you, I don’t busy myself with porn searches or anything else I’d feel the need to “hide.” Clean up your mind and deal with your own problems by consulting a professional. I’m looking for technical help here, not deranged rants from the peanut gallery.
Anyway, for the adults out there who happen to read this query, I’m referring to the wee drop-down menu in the upper right corner of the browser, next to the address line. Google is the most prominent option but there are some dubious ones like bloody eBay and Creative Commons that I can do without. Any helpful suggestions would be most welcome. Anymore deranged comments from bushlovers will be ignored. Cheers!
How do I keep my computer safe?
Ok, I have Nod32 running, have Spysweeper installed and use Firefox as my web browser. With Nod32, do I need anything else to keep adware and viruses off?
Mmm, good point Dewcoombs, I do have Windows Firewall up and running. I chose Nod32 because I’ve heard good reviews of it. That and Panda were mentioned as the best out there in a couple of tech reveiws I had seen.
