How do I use a free wireless internet service?
I live in the boonies, with only dial-up service available, however I can go to certain eateries that provide free wireless access. I am able to get connected; I have a little green icon going, I am shown the signal strength and the connection speed. When I try to open internet explorer or even Yahoo messenger, nothing happens. I get a box that pops up asking me if I want to connect to the internet or a box with my dial-up info, asking for my password to connect. Any ideas on what I can do? Thanks!
I have clicked “connect to the internet,” nothing happens.
