A friend of mine has an older computer (she’s running Windows ME) and her USB drive quit working. I think she needs to update the driver, but her Computer doesn’t have internet access. Can I download the software and burn it on to a disk to give to her? If so, does anyone have the URL where I can download it from?

A friend of mine has received a job offer from the department of defense to work as an accountant. She recently received U.S. citizenship (she was born in mainland China), and a background check was done on her then. Her job offer is contingent on passing the security check, but she is getting no feedback on the progress of the check. If she accepts the job, she will have to move from one city to another. I have three questions. 1. Assuming that she has not been involved in any weird activities (which I know to be the case), is there any significant chance that the security clearance will cause her to lose the job? 2. How can she check on the progress of the security check. 3. Also, are there military newsgroup/websites that would provide additional information on this matter.

Is it compatible with Windows XP, the oldest version? I havent updated mine in years. Is that why?

A friend of mine is about to sit down with a new SEO company. What questions should he be prepared to answer? I told him to be prepared to answer the following questions in case they ask.
1. What 6 specific keywords are you trying to rank for?
2. What keyword string are you trying to rank for? example: Website Design, Content Management Systems
3. How many years was your domain purchased for? How long have you owned it?
4. Is your website hosted on a linux or windows server?
5. Are you familiar with backlinks? Do you know how to build backlinks?
6. Do you have a Google Webmaster Tools, Yahoo Site Explorer, or Bing Webmaster Center account?
7. Do you have analytics to track visitors?
8. Does your current site have a sitemap.xml or robots.txt?
9. Is your business listed on Yelp?
10. Do you have any PPC or Adword accounts live sending traffic to your website?
