It is a stand alone computer with 6 users account. At the present any user can access the internet from their account, even those with limited access account. How do I stop this, so that only those with administration access can access the internet without permission. The operating system is XP Media Edition

I know there are a lot of Linux websites around. However, may I know how do I download a copy of Linux operating system? What are the files I need to install Linux? It is so confusing. May I also know is the downloading time really very slow? How can it be when we have broadband today?

How do I configure Windows XP’s firewall so that I can access the internet on another computer using Ubuntu/Linux (via Internet connection sharing, with a cable). It works fine using Windows, but not with another operating system. Thanks in advance!

Games. i was given the web site to go on to download Sun’s free Java this is what i did or i thought when i contacted Yahoo Games and i did what they suggested to no avail; i still can’t play Yahoo Games any suggestions or better yet solutions to this problem

Just been told that in order to go onto my psn i need to update the system, but it tells me that if i were to update it then i can no longer use any other operating system (such as linux). I feel really angry about this. I declined finishing the update because of this and i can’t get onto my playstation network account. So, basically if i want to be able to use online i need to accept something that will take away the playstations ability to have linux?

What do yall think of this? and should i complain?
To be completely honest its more the principle im getting angry over. I don’t use linux but it would be a nice feature to have in the future if i ever decided to put it on.

My ps3 plays ps/ps2 games, so if the update takes that function away (i doubt it) then screw sony and screw their console. Guess id have a new paperweight to go with my conspiracy blue alienware laptop.
