Linux Fedora 10, stuck no root?

I just installed Fedora 10, when finished installing it asked me to create one user as well as root password, I did and I am forced to login with that user, now I don’t have any type of root access, when I try to use sudo help command it says something like my current user’s account is not on sudoers list, when I try to edit /etc/sudoers to fix the issue it says I don’t have root access, I don’t know how to start root terminal session as this option is not available in Konsole like RedHat, I am stuck cant do anything, any one knows how to get from this loop?

Installing RedHat Linux into VMWare?

So I’ve finished installing RedHat into VMware and when I click “Start this virtual Machine” I get this error message:

Could not CreateProcess: Failed to logon to specified account for VM.

What does this mean and how can I fix it?

thanks :)
I think it may have to do with the fact that (although I’ve registered 3 different times and acquired multiple serial numbers) none of the serial numbers are recognized for VMWare. no idea why?
