How do you change the domain on Microsoft Windows Small Business Server 2003?
I’ve got SBS2003 running on a server. When we set it up we used a xxxx.local domain and that’s not what I want anymore. I want to run it as a normal domain (a different one than is used right now) and I’m not sure how to change it other than starting over with a new reinstall which I think is a bad idea. So, can I make some changes to point the server to a new domain name that will change Exchange, Sharepoint, etc.? I’m trying to make it so that I can have a Sharepoint website be external (http://www.xxxx.com/sharepoint or something) and also change the domain that Exchange references. I used to have a business and that’s the domain that’s being used but now I want to change it to something else. Any help is appreciated.
