why can’t i access other email members on yahoo when itype their domain name? i.e. joesmith@yahoo.com and zip

I am in USA zip code 10925 and am helping a friend set up a multi-purpose link to the internet, handle voice telephone communications, and also be able to do credit/debit card transaction processing, maintain their website, etc. all through one link up which me guessing, will probably turn out to be a cable link up. Verizon access is available as well as satellite. Note: dial up service via the phone company (Verizon) is too slow. We want to also stay away from Verizon if at all possible due to past bad experiences.
Can anyone recommend the proper configuration by cable, telephone, or satellite supplier (company) and the related monthly costs and if any contract is needed? Also, what specific equipment is needed? They already have a PC.
Also want to receive premium TV channels a lowest cost.

Is there anyway to check an account status with just an e-mail address? I subscribed to a newsgroup years ago using a now outdated e-mail address. Messages to the old address are being forwarded to my new account so I still get the newsgroup. When I send e-mail to the newsgroup, Yahoo doesn’t recognize the address (obviously) as being subscribed. When I try to log in with my old address I just can’t seem to get in. I tried all my old zip codes and passwords but I can’t get past the “forgot your username.”
Any advice?

printer only prints one page at a time. after each page is printed i have to push the print button each time.

I had an account I haven’t accessed in a while. But I forgot my password and cannot remember the zip code for that time – 3 varied addresses – none working. How can I connect back to my email? Tried to re-register, but user name still in use. Why setup another when I have one? Let me know if you need an address for mailing to my attention. Thank You
